SS&PF was contracted to fabricate this 16’+ diameter drying tower from mild steel and 316 SS. We provided design services to ensure no deflection during lifting to maintain the integrity of refractory linings. The final lift weight was 300,000 lbs (150 T). Transportation required police escorts and line lifting crews to accommodate a width of 22′ and 19′ off the ground.
